A four-year-old spent more than $230 on his grandma’s UberEats app ordering Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts.

Builder Marc Franks, from Green Ohio, recounted how his nephew Jaxen, four, left the whole family gobsmacked after making the giant coffee and snacks order through his grandmother Virginia's phone.

Marc had just finished an early morning job when his father called him to ask him if he had ordered from Starbucks, before the family eventually found out the $230 food order, which included a $32 tip, was all Jaxen's.

While the toddler got a telling off, the family said they saw the funny side of the story and did not waste the coffee or the  snacks the boy got for them.

A video of the incident shared by Marc has gone viral.

Marc had just finished up on a job site at the start of April when he got a text from his dad asking if he had ordered a lot of coffee and breakfast food to their home.

Confused, the 22-year-old said ‘no’ and made his way over to the house to find a table covered with the Starbucks order, which included four venti iced caramel macchiatos, eight orders of the bacon and gruyere egg bites and one blue cake pop.

Quickly it became apparent that Marc’s nephew Jaxen had managed to complete the order while playing on his grandma Virginia’s phone while she was asleep.

Marc said: 'We order a fair amount of food off the delivery apps and we think Jaxen learned how to navigate the Starbucks one because that’s a frequent order for us.

'We allow him to use a tablet for some of his entertainment, but lately he’s been on a trend of thinking "phones are cooler" and so my mother was letting him use her phone to watch YouTube.

'He must have snuck off YouTube and went onto UberEats, proceeded to order some things off their menu, most of which was on the recently purchased.

'We didn’t realise until the morning. Me and my dad were on a jobs ite and he walked us through what work needed to be done.

'Once all that was complete he goes back home and stumbles upon the bags on the porch. He then texted me asking if I ordered and I told him no and if I did it wouldn’t be at the house.

'A big thing too since it was ordered on my mother’s phone, she didn’t even know because she was still sleeping in the morning.

'In total the order was around $230 including the tip which was $32.

'He ordered four venti iced caramel macchiatos, three tall caramel macchiatos, four grande caramel macchiatos, eight orders of the bacon and gruyere egg bites and one blue cake pop.

'On top of all of that he managed to also order 2 iced hot chocolates from Dunkin’ Donuts.'

Marc said: 'To be honest we all found it to be really funny. Granted there was a lesson to be learned from this and we made sure that he knew what he did was not okay and was not going to do it again.

'The whole time we were explaining to him why it was not okay he had the blue cake pop all around his lips and cheeks, so it was really hard to talk to him without dying laughing.

'But everyone was laughing about it. We didn’t make his dad reimburse us just because we brought a lot of the stuff to work and all of it was drank within three days.

'It was kind of like meal prepping but with coffee instead.'
