'Ozark' Season 4 Part 1 Netflix Release Date and Episode Count
The end is in sight for Ozark fans but there's a full season, split into two parts, to enjoy before the Netflix show wraps up.
Jason Bateman once again returns as Marty Byrde alongside Laura Linney as his wife Wendy. Ozark has grown in popularity and the upcoming fourth season is sure to climb its way up the Netflix top ten lists around the world.
Season 4 will officially be the show's last, but for better or worse, Netflix is stuttering the release of the final episodes into two parts.
Here's everything you need to know about Ozark Season 4, Part 1.
When will Ozark Season 4 be available?
The first half of Season 4 of Ozark will drop on Netflix on Friday, January 21, 2022. Generally, Netflix releases content at 3 a.m ET and 12 a.m. PT.
As usual, there'll be no weekly release for the series as the collection of new episodes drop at once on the launch date.
How many episodes of Ozark Season 4 Part 1 are there?
Season 4 of Ozark will have more episodes than each of the previous three seasons did individually.
While Seasons 1,2 and 3 contained 10 episodes each, Ozark Season 4 will be made up of 14 episodes in total.
Part 1, which is being released on January 21, 2022, will consist of seven episodes. Part 2 of Season 4 will also contain seven episodes. There is no release date scheduled for Part 2 at the moment but it's expected to arrive later in 2022.

It was announced in June 2020 that Netflix had green-lit Ozark for a "supersized" fourth and final season. This implies that there's just too much story to get through for the Byrde family that couldn't have been adequately told in the traditional 10-episode arc for the show.
Who stars in Ozark Season 4?
Bateman and Linney are back as the morally ambiguous Byrde parents while Sofia Hublitz and Skylar Gaertner return as their children, Charlotte and Jonah.
Series regulars Lisa Emery (Darlene Snell), Charlie Tahan (Wyatt Langmore) and Kevin L. Johnson (Sam Dermod) all return too. Julia Garner, who has won two Primetime Emmy Awards for her performance as Ruth Langmore in Ozark, will also be back. Damian Young, who was previously the recurring character Jim Rattelsdorf in Seasons 2 and 3 will become a main cast member in Season 4. Similarly, Felix Solis is playing a key role as Omar Navarro.
There are some new cast members joining Ozark for the final season too. Adam Rothenberg (Ripper Street) will play private investigator Mel Sattem while Alfonso Herrera plays cartel member Javi Elizonndro.
Arriving in smaller roles, Bruno Bichir, Katrina Lenk, Eric Ladin, Bruce Davison, Veronica Falcón and Ali Stroker will also join the cast for Season 4 of Ozark.
Ozark Seasons 1-3 are streaming now on Netflix. Ozark Season 4 Part 1 will be available to watch on Netflix from Friday, January 21, 2022.
