The Bachelorette: Tayshia Adams tells Kaitlyn Bristowe of tough split
Tayshia Adams admitted that she was heartbroken over her split from fiance Zac Clark on Monday during The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All episode.
The 31-year-old show co-host was asked about her relationship status by her co-host Kaitlyn Bristowe, 36, during the two-hour show on ABC.
'Tayshia, I want to talk to you about something. You're not wearing your engagement ring. So, can you tell us what's going on in your relationship with Zac?,' Kaitlyn asked.
'Umm, all in all, all I have to say is that I'm heartbroken,' Tayshia said as her voice cracked.
'But we tried really hard and ...I still love him very much and, um, I'm not sure what the future holds. I mean, you know how it is. It's really tough,' Tayshia said.
The star of season 16 of The Bachelorette chose Zac, 37, during the season finale, but last month Tayshia announced the end of their engagement.
Kaitlyn gave Tayshia a supportive hug and they were soon joined by Rodney Mathews who was eliminated by Michelle Young, 28, after hometown dates.
Rodney told Tayshia that he was sorry to hear about her breakup and she took a deep breath before suddenly bolting from the stage.

'We're going to let Tayshia have a minute,' Kaitlyn said before resuming her conversation with Rodney.
The two-hour episode featured usual unresolved drama among contestants including pizzapreneur Peter Izzo, 26, of New York, and Will Urena, 28, of the Dominican Republic.
'Bro, you went on the wrong show. This is the show to find love. If you really wanted to promote your business, you shoulda went on Shark Tank,' Will told Peter.
Peter later brought out a man who served legal papers on Will for 'defamation of character'.
The show ended with Peter bringing out pizza for everyone and Will actually admitting that it was pretty good.
In a rare display of maturity on the show, Peter extended his hand to Will to bury the hatchet and he accepted.
They shook hands as Michelle, Tayshia and Kaitlyn looked on approvingly.
Michelle during the episode also received a genuine apology from Jamie Skaar, 32, of San Diego, after she called him out for talking about her behind her back.
