Remnants of Halloween and spooky season will carry over into November as Netflix gears up to release “Wednesday,” the horror-comedy series based on the Addams family, starring Jenna Ortega as the titular character. The show, set to premiere on Nov. 23, is developed by Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and Tim Burton. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Gwendoline Christie and Fred Armisen appear in supporting roles.

November also brings the return of “The Crown.” The fifth season marks the third and final recasting of Queen Elizabeth II as the series shifts to the 1990s. Claire Foy and Olivia Colman played the late queen in prior seasons, with Imelda Staunton assuming the role for the fifth season. Rounding out the new cast are Jonathan Pryce, Lesley Manville, Jonny Lee Miller, Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki. This season of “The Crown,” launching on Nov. 9, will be the first to air following the deaths of both Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II.

Comedian Trevor Noah’s third stand-up special with the streamer, titled “I Wish You Would,” is set for debut on Nov. 22. The “Daily Show” host announced in late September that he would be stepping down from the program by the end of the year.
