Chicago Neighbors Fall in Love on the Elevator During Lockdown
This guy fell in love with the girl next door, literally, all because of the pandemic. When Stacie Pawlicki moved into a 10th floor apartment in a Chicago high-rise, her neighbor two doors down noticed how pretty she was. For months Alex Morton made occasional small talk with Stacie in the elevator. Then, last March, as the country was locking down, they ran into each other, and soon after, Stacie invited Alex over to do a jigsaw puzzle. Now, the neighbors have fallen in love and moved in together.
