What is the Paris Climate Agreement?

The Paris Climate Agreement is an international treaty signed by nearly 200 countries to fight climate change, aiming to keep global warming below 2°C above pre industrial levels and below 1.5°C if possible. Each country has to set its own plans to achieve the goals, which also includes limiting the amount of greenhouse gases emitted by human activity by 2100.
