Pediatrician Breaks Down What to Prepare for Your Newborn’s Arrival
Taking home your bundle of joy is one of the greatest experiences, but it can also be quite overwhelming for new parents. To make it a little easier, board-certified pediatrician Dr. Amna Husain breaks down what to prepare for your newborn’s arrival home in this video. First, choose a pediatrician at a convenient location and meet with them before birth, if possible. At home, make sure to arrange a safe sleep setup for your baby and install the car seat in advance. (Trust us… Fighting with the car seat will be the last thing you want to do after birth!) Most importantly, make sure to build a support system that can help you balance all the new things in your life; postpartum can be overwhelming, so don’t be afraid to lean on friends and family.
