Ecuador opposition wins mayoral races

People in Ecuador appear to have rejected reforms laid out in a referendum called by President Guillermo Lasso. One aim of the vote was to tackle the country's growing problem with gang and drug violence, but many voters saw it as a poll on Lasso's leadership.
