Ischia residents describe landslide; 'a waterfall of of water and mud'
Buildings had been destroyed and streets strewn with mud and debris on the Italian island of Ischia after heavy rains triggered landslides. 'It is the fault of our old politicians, who did not do preventive work on the mountains,' Ischia resident Ciro Buono said. 'They cut down the trees, and this is the consequence.'
