Bragg and others named after Confederate traitors to be renamed. The controversy over the large amount of Confederate monument, Confederate statue, Confederate military bases and Confederate flag controversy has taken on a new meaning after the police killing of George Floyd ushered in a global movement of George Floyd protests and Black Lives Matter protests. These monuments to the Confederacy to little more than glorify treasonous traitors who fought a war against their fellow Americans in order to keep people enslaved. The fact that there is even a Confederate flag controversy or a Confederate statues controversy in 2020 is baffling, as Senator Liz Warren points out.
