'Best Alarm Clock Ever!' Curious Elk Tap on Cabin Window in Colorado

A man was woken up by a pair of curious elk investigating his cabin window in Estes Park, Colorado, on Monday, November 21. Photographer Kevin Fuchs shared the interaction on Facebook, saying he woke to the “the best alarm clock ever”. “I woke up to some tapping on my window and honestly had no idea what it was, so I went to go check and pulled back the curtain and was looking face to face with a female elk,” Fuchs told Storyful. “I ended up crouching down to her level to look at her eye to eye and that’s when she ended up leaning in and putting her nose up to the window,” Fuchs said. “That moment I had with her was so beautiful and such an unreal moment.
