9 Miners Escape From Rubble After Gold Mine Collapses in DRC
It was practically a miracle that nine miners survived after a gold mine collapsed with them inside. It happened in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where incidents like this are unfortunately common. Reports say this mine collapsed after heavy rain hit the area. Rescuers rushed to help and just as one man was digging through the rubble with his bare hands, a miner popped out to cheers from witnesses. Encouraged, rescuers kept digging.
