Chihuahua Gets Buttons Sewn Into His Face to Help Him From Surgery
Claudia Pizzarelli, a wedding photographer, is fostering an 8-year-old chihuahua that was surrendered to the Peggy Adams Animal Shelter in West Palm Beach, Florida. His nickname has become Mr. Buttons because of the buttons sewn onto his face. He had a jaw fracture and had to have all his teeth removed. The buttons are there to keep the stitches in place. Pizzarelli is sharing her story to raise awareness on the importance of fostering animals. Inside Edition Digital’s Leigh Scheps has more.
