England drops mask mandate as part of easing coronavirus rules
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Jan. 19 an easing of coronavirus restrictions for England, including eliminating mask mandates, dropping work-from-home guidance and decreasing the isolation period for positive coronavirus cases to five days after two negative tests.
