School zone coming to Barnes Rd
The Colorado Springs Traffic Engineer and School District 11 today announced plans to create a school zone with signs and flashers near Doherty High School. The decision comes after a 17-year-old student was hit by a car and killed Wednesday morning as she was crossing Barnes Road to get to school. News 5's Andy Koen joins us live from the d-11 administration building where city and school leaders announced this change.
