Superintendent Announces Snow Day With Parody Song Set to ‘I Will Survive’
An Iowa superintendent made a special announcement in his own special way. Brent Hoesing, the Missouri Valley superintendent, let his students know that they could stay home for a snow day, and borrowed a tune from Gloria Gaynor to let them know. With his kids at his side, the sunglass-wearing superintendent changed up the words to “I Will Survive” to let kids know school was closed. He’s actually known as “The Singing Superintendent” because he often sets his messages to music.
