Town previously overrun by ISIS prepares to host Pope Francis
When residents returned to the mostly Christian town of Qaraqosh after Iraqi forces drove out ISIS, they found homes looted and burnt, churches scorched and vandalized, symbols of Christianity smashed or defaced. Life has returned to Qaraqosh, CNN's Ben Wedeman reports, and residents are busy preparing for a visit by Pope Francis. Much of the damage has been repaired, but not the wounds ISIS left behind.
