What Is This Giant Mysterious Blob Headed to Florida?
A mysterious blob that is 5,000 miles long is washing ashore on pristine beaches in the Caribbean. The brown, floating seaweed is called sargassum and it's heading to Florida during spring break. Travel vlogger Joel Baycroft documented what he saw during his vacation in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. He tells Inside Edition "It's to the point in some places where you can't even see the beach anymore.” The smelly blob is still growing and it's not expected to peak until July.
