YF-104A Starfighter restoration at Weisbroad Aircraft Museum
A rare historic plane is being restored in Pueblo by crews at the Weisbrod Aircraft Museum. The YF-104A Starfighter is on loan from the US Air Force Academy. The plane is significant because it is one of two in the world. The other is at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. The aircraft introduced supersonic speed to the US military in the 1950s.
