Biden Says US Is Committed to Indo-Pacific for the Long Haul
President Joe Biden speaks in Tokyo about the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF), a sweeping economic pact between a dozen Indo-Pacific countries and the US designed to counter China's influence in the region. "We're writing the new rules for the 21st century economy," Biden said at a launch event. "They're going to help all of our countries economies grow faster and fair."
