Boy Steals the Show by Imitating Umpire at Baseball Game

A young boy stole the show at a baseball game in Hammond, Louisiana, as he imitated his idol – the umpire – on March 28 Footage captured by Hutch Gonzales shows the kid, named Lathan, kitted out in a helmet as he copies the umpire’s every move. Gonzales told Storyful that Lathan is the son of one of his friends, and that the aspiring umpire does this every weekend at any park that he and his family visit. “Everyone at the ballpark eventually gathered to watch him.
