Did 911 Operator Hang Up on Buffalo Supermarket Manager’s Call During Shooting?
Did a 911 operator hang up on the assistant manager of Buffalo’s Tops Supermarket during last weekend’s deadly mass shooting? Latisha Rogers says she hid behind a customer service desk and called 911 as the gunman stalked the aisles. She says the operator told her not to whisper, before hanging up on her. Erie County Central Police Services confirmed that “the individual who took that call is now on administrative leave pending a disciplinary hearing.”
