Did a Rock Concert Get a Permit by Claiming to Be a 9/11 Memorial Service?

A hardcore rock concert taking place in a New York City park sure seems fun, but does it look like a memorial to the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001? Thousands of fans packed into Tompkins Square Park for stage diving and moshing as music blared for hours. But the promoters were accused of allegedly applying for and obtaining a permit for a show they claimed was a 9/11 memorial event. We spoke to promoter Joe Cammaratta, who showed us the permit.
