Early Morning Earthquake Sends School Children Running for Safety in China
This school day was interrupted by a violent earthquake that sent students taking cover under their desks and then running for the doors. Video from the school shows students and staff rushing to get to open spaces like playgrounds and roads. It happened in China’s Szechuan Province. The quake measured 4.8 magnitudes and there have been no reported deaths or destroyed buildings, although some structures did sustain slight damage. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
