Engineering School Dropout Builds Robots Out of Junk
Mutasim Jubril had been studying electronic engineering, until money troubles forced him to drop out of school. Working out of a corner of his family’s home in Sudan, the 22-year-old has pieced together several convincing-looking robot creations. He uses waste materials, recycled bits, and procures parts from junk dealers, as well as the internet. He hopes his efforts will win him a scholarship or interest from businesses.
