Paralyzed Dog Gets Special Ski Legs to Explore Ontario Snow

A dog whose hind legs were paralyzed following a road accident got a chance to play in the snow in Owen Sound, Ontario, thanks to a special pair of “ski attachments” to his harness. A video of Eddie walking, or more aptly ‘skiing’, around in the winter wonderland was shared by his owners on February 18, on a special Instagram account @eddiessecondchance. Eddie was rescued by his owner, Angela Parker, in September 2018 after he was knocked down, and his original family was unable to pay for veterinary costs for his injuries, which included “significant injury to his back with a break and dislocation of his spine.” Credit: @ eddiessecondchance via Storyful
