Texas Teacher Says She Placed 13-Year-Old Son in Car Trunk So She Wouldn’t Catch COVID-19
A Texas mom was arrested for driving her son for a COVID-19 test in the trunk of her car. Sarah Beam, 41, allegedly pulled up to a drive-thru testing site near her home outside of Houston and told staff that she wanted to get her 13-year-old son tested. When asked where her son was, she allegedly popped the trunk saying she didn’t want to catch COVID-19 from him. A judge found no probable cause to charge Beam with child endangerment, but authorities say they are still investigating.
