CLEVELAND, Ohio — The forecast for Monday in the Cleveland and Akron areas? Plenty of sunshine.

Same for Tuesday. And Wednesday. It will be partly sunny Thursday. Then sunny Friday and Saturday. And partly sunny Sunday.

That about covers it.

The only thing that will change is the temperatures. A cool start to the week will give way to gradually warming temperatures. Monday’s highs will be in the upper 60s, but will climb to the mid-70s by Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will see temps get to the upper 70s, then they’ll be around 80 degrees Saturday.

Monday will be chilly overnight as temps drop to the low 40s in Akron and the mid-40s in Cleveland. Lows will hover in the mid-50s for most of the week before climbing into the low 60s Saturday night.

The lone chance of showers comes on Sunday, with the National Weather Service calling for a 40 percent chance in both Akron and Cleveland.

Monday’s sunrise: 7:14 a.m.

Sunset: 7:25 p.m.

Pollen count: 3.8 (medium-low)
