Black Liberation March Passes Outdoor Diners in New York City
A group of anti-racism protesters marched past diners in central New York City on Thursday evening, January 20, three days after a similar march ended in scuffles outside City Hall. In footage shared by Jarrett Robertson, protesters can be seen carrying a large Black Lives Matter banner as they chant whilst passing outdoor diners, with a second video shows the protesters marching through Times Square. Further video shows protesters cheering a person dressed in a police uniform and wearing a pig mask to eat a birthday cake. An eyewitness report said there was a brief confrontation between protesters and police in Times Square, but there was no reports of arrests or violence. Credit: Jarrett Robertson via Storyful
