Brush Fire Threatens Structures In Rancho San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA — A brush fire sparked Wednesday that threatened structures in Rancho San Diego.
The fast-moving blaze, called the Campo Fire, burned five acres near Campo and Jamacha roads, according to Cal Fire San Diego.
The fire threatened structures along Avenida Roberta and Calle Los Arboles, the state agency said.
"If you live near Avenida Roberta and Calle Los Arboles, be ready to evacuate if you feel you are in danger," the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said on Twitter.
A temporary evacuation point was established at the Regal Edwards Rancho San Diego parking lot at 2951 Jamacha Road in El Cajon.
