Monday & Tuesday

Sunny skies will be with us Monday morning, but the flow out of the southwest will be a sign of changes to come. Cloud cover will increase late Monday with showers and storms rolling in after sunset. The rain will be scattered and heavy at times, lingering through Tuesday. Highs will hold in the low 80s with overnight lows only falling to the upper 60s. Humidity will be present through this two day stretch due to the southwesterly breeze.

A strong and long cold front will finally move into the East by Wednesday. This will help clear the humidity and cloud cover from our forecast for the remainder of the week, but until it clears the coast, showers and storms will continue to dot the radar. Highs will struggle to reach 80° mark and winds will be gusty, coming in out of the southwest to start the day and the northwest as we finish it. At this point, the severe weather threat is low, but depending on the timing of the front’s arrival, that may change.

Thursday & Friday

A calmer forecast will greet us by Thursday morning as high pressure builds over the area. Sunny skies, crisp fall air and a steady wind out of the north will entice many to go out and buy pumpkins. Highs will drop to the upper 60s to low 70s to finish the week with overnight lows falling back to the 50s.
