CLEVELAND, Ohio – There’s a chance for scattered showers Friday morning, but otherwise, it’ll be a clear and mild weekend in Northeast Ohio, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland.

On the heels of overnight showers Thursday, there’s a 20% chance of rain before 9 a.m. Friday, according to NWS. It’ll be mostly cloudy the rest of the day, with northwest winds around 15 to 18 mph.

Temperatures on Friday will top out around 50 in the Akron area, but it’ll be cooler by Lake Erie, with a high around 45. The overnight low by the lake will dip to around 40, compared to the mid 30s near Akron.

Saturday should be partly sunny with a high around 55 and a low around 40. It may brighten up a bit on Sunday, with the forecast calling for mostly sunny skies, a high around 60 and a low in the low 40s.

Work week forecast

Sunny skies will continue on Monday with a high around 60 and a low around 40. Rain is back in the forecast on Tuesday, with a 40% chance of showers throughout the day and a high in the mid 50s.
