CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters were called to Lincoln Financial for a fire in the woods.

At 4 p.m., dispatch began receiving calls about the fire, just off Rumford Street, on Granite Place. The fire was set back from the driveway of the complex, into the woods.

Firefighters arrived with a tanker a few minutes after the call and spent about 30 minutes spraying down the burned area. Concord's new fire chief, Sean Brown, was at the scene, too. He said the cause of the fire was unknown but investigators would be looking into it.

This was the fourth fire on Tuesday that firefighters were sent to. Trash and debris appeared to have been intentionally set on Tuesday morning along the railroad tracks on Storrs Street and an appliance fire was also reported on Maitland Street.
