Driver Arrested by Westminster Police After Crashing Into Downing Street Gate
A man was arrested by police in London after he drove into a gate at the UK Prime Minister’s residence on May 25, Metropolitan Police Service Westminster said. Video filmed by BigSy of BoxCleverArmy from street level shows the vehicle, with airbags deployed, at the gates of Downing Street as responding police officers arrest a man. Police said, “At around 16:20hrs a car collided with the gates of Downing Street on Whitehall. Armed officers arrested a man at the scene on suspicion of criminal damage and dangerous driving.
