It’s bin-y joel! Guitarist capturing on camera trashing to infamous hit piano man from inside a rubbish bin

By Josh Saunders A guitarist has been captured on camera TRASHING to infamous Billy Joel hit Piano Man from inside a BIN. Gregory Smolko, 34, from Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, watched the peculiar performance that was far from rubbish. In the footage shot on April 21st, the infamous chorus of the 1973 hit echoes from the black bin smeared with gum, white markings and likely bird faeces. Despite being a stifling 24-degree Celsius day, the singer’s bare arm can be seen sticking out of the stuffy bin as he carefully caresses the neck of his guitar. Bemused passers-by doubletake while walking past the unusual performer and laugh including Gregory who captured the amusing moment. The construction engineer who was born in Bolesławiec, Poland, but has resided in the UK for nearly 15 years believes this was one of the craziest things he has seen since liver in England. Gregory said: “Firstly, I thought it was pretty insane to play guitar inside the bin especially in such a warm day. “Secondly, this guy was either so creative or desperate to make some money. “I’ve heard this song before but I wouldn’t recognise the artist, until after checking YouTube I discovered it was Billy Joel- Piano Man, that song will stay with me forever “I’ve been living in United Kingdom for over 14 years and I’ve seen some pretty crazy stuff on the street, but this guy deserves a medal. “My other reaction was to grab a phone and record it to show my girlfriend who is in Chile.”
