Much needed rain likely: Tuesday’s Northeast Ohio weather forecast
CLEVELAND, Ohio — There’s a very good chance Northeast Ohio could get some much-needed rain on Tuesday.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service say there’s a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday, with the best chances between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Showers and thunderstorms remain possible throughout the day, but are less likely during the afternoon as skies clear.
Otherwise, expect hot and humid conditions, with highs around 90 degrees and heat index around 96 degrees. The chances of showers and thunderstorms will increase overnight to about 60%, and it will remain warm, with temps close to 70 degrees.
Extended forecast
Cooler, cloud conditions arrive Wednesday, with highs around 80 degrees. There are chances of showers and thunderstorms in the morning. Thursday could bring more showers and thunderstorms, with highs in the low 80s. Friday also will have highs in the low 80s, with partly sunny skies and a 40% chance of showers.
