CLEVELAND, Ohio — Put away the sprinklers. It’s likely they won’t be needed this week.

Warm, humid conditions are in the forecast for most of this week in Northeast Ohio, which will bring plenty of chances for showers and thunderstorms.

Forecasters with the National Weather Service say stormy weather is most likely to occur Monday afternoon, with temperatures peaking in the mid-80s. The Weather Service warns that some storms could produce heavy rainfall. Storm chances will diminish overnight but will remain possible. Temperatures will stay in the low 70s.

There are good chances of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday morning, and they will remain possible throughout the day. Highs again will be in the mid-80s with mostly cloudy skies. Temps will stay in the upper 60s overnight and there will be more showers and thunderstorms.

Wednesday follows a similar pattern ... showers and thunderstorms through the morning with highs in the mid-80s. For now, Wednesday night looks to be dry, but it will remain warm and humid as lows stay in the upper 60s.

Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s Thursday with partly sunny skies. There are solid chances of showers and thunderstorms, though, especially after 2 p.m. Overnight lows will be in the low 70s with more chances of showers and thunderstorms.

The chances of storms remain Friday, with temps in the mid-80s. Highs will stay in the mid-80s through the weekend with partly sunny skies and, of course, with chances of showers and thunderstorms.

Monday’s sunrise: 6:04 a.m.
