Thursday weather is for t-shirts, shorts and lots of sunscreen

Thursday’s weather forecast has plenty of sunshine fit for t-shirts, shorts and sunscreen.

“We do have a very high UV index,” said Spectrum News 13 meteorologist Maureen McCann. “So, you want to make sure that you have that sunscreen on for any time spent outdoors.”

The drought is still on as no rain forecast is on the horizon.

Temperatures are running above average with numbers somewhere between 86 and 87 degrees.

Those numbers will approach closer to 90 on Friday and could surpass it over the weekend.
