Tonight: Becoming partly cloudy. Chilly with lows in the 20s.

Tomorrow: Warmer with a mixture of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid 50s.

Thursday: A cold front arrives early Thursday and will bring a cold rain through the morning into the early afternoon with rain ending as snow or a wintry mix for the Triangle and areas to the north by Thursday night. We'll reach our high in the mid 40s early in the afternoon, then temperatures will drastically fall during the day and we'll experience a breezy wind out of the northeast.

Friday: An area of low pressure will develop along the cold front that arrives on Thursday. This will bring a wintry mix to central North Carolina throughout the day on Friday. Accumulating snow is likely along the Virginia line while the Triangle and areas to the south will mainly have to contend with sleet and freezing rain yet again. Expect a cold, breezy day with highs in the upper 20s and low 30s.

Saturday: The wintry mix will end Saturday morning as the low pressure moves away from our coast. Skies will gradually clear throughout the day. Highs in the mid 30s.
