On the historic inauguration of Vice President Kamala Harris, Rep. Nikema Williams (D-Ga.) says: “For far too long we've been told that we need to join other institutions or assimilate...to achieve success…What it really meant to me...was how we're moving forward in this country, and there’s going to be a generation of children...who are never going to know what it’s like to not have women in leadership…to never know what it’s like to not see women of color."
