  • The President said Kenya Kwanza was implementing the requests made by Kenyans during the campaigns.
  • He said the government will be launching products after every six months.

President William Ruto has revealed that over 100,000 Kenyans tried to access the Hustler Fund on Wednesday.

The President said the massive interest among Kenyans shows that they are ready for the fund.

"I have been told that even as we are seated here some 100,000 Kenyans have tried to access the fund and test if it is working," Ruto said.

Speaking when he launched the fund-his signature pet project-the President expressed gratitude that his campaign promise had come to pass.

"I am happy what we promised during the campaigns has become a reality today," Ruto said.

The President noted that the launch was a culmination of the views they collected from Kenyans during their engagements across the country.

"We toured all parts of the country where people told us that they were under trouble with Fuliza and Shylocks , and that they needed money to do their businesses," he said.
