Many people would never have thought they would see Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt working together again after their very public break up in 2005.

However, the pair have decided to let bygones be bygones as they have appeared together on screen for the first time in many years.

Joining in on Sean Penn’s fundraising venture, a table read of Fast Times At Ridgemont High, it seemed like, despite their divorce, Jennifer and Brad have been able to move on.

This is the first time that the former Hollywood power couple has been seen together since they said hello to each other backstage at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January.

Both Jennifer and Brad seemed excited about attending the virtual event, which takes place on September 17, alongside many other famous faces in order to raise money for Sean Penn’s nonprofit CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) and REFORM Alliance.

The 50-year-old actress famously worked with her 56-year-old ex-husband on her TV sitcom Friends back in 2001 on the episode The One With The Rumor for season eight.

However, after many years of not speaking, it appeared that Brad’s attendance at Jennifer’s 50th birthday party last year gave the two a chance to talk and smooth things out.

Also on the Fast Times live read was Dane Cook, Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Shia LaBeouf, Matthew McConaughey, Jimmy Kimmel, Julia Roberts, John Legend and Ray Liotta. Brad’s friend Sean Penn, who was the star of FTARH, was also on the screen.

The film previously came out in 1982 and was an instant cult classic. In the new table read, each of the actors will take on a role from the film though Penn won’t be playing his iconic character.

The table read was supposed to air on August 20 but was pushed to September 17.
