South Korean Woman Finally Gets Driving Licence After Her 960th Attempt

Despite the hurdles, she faced over the years, and the failed results, the South Korean woman kept showing up eager to learn how to drive.

She spent a whopping KSh 1.7 million to make her dream come true.

Winning after the 960th attempt

Her story garnered attention due to her sheer tenacity in chasing what seemed to have been eluding her every time.

She took her first attempt at the written test in April 2005 and finally succeeded after 960 attempts.

Speaking to Daily Mail, her driving instructor said:

"When she finally got her licence, we all went out cheering and hugged her, giving her flowers."
"It felt like a huge burden falling off our backs. We hadn't had the guts to tell her to quit because she kept showing up."

Cha Sa-soon gifted a car

After her story made rounds, Hyundai (a South Korean car manufacturer) gifted her a brand-new vehicle worth KSh 1.8 million.

The 69-year-old woman has a vegetable business and needed to know how to drive to transport her commodities from one place to another.

Despite the many failed attempts, she did not give precisely until she got what she wanted.

Physically challenged boy, inspiring people

Separately, a video of a young boy who is physically challenged learning to walk with prosthetic legs has gone viral.

In the clip shared by @klaytonnojozaone, the young lad was determined to learn how to use the prosthetic legs.

What endeared netizens are that he did not let that dampen his spirit, as he seemed like a boy full of joy.
