This huge Home Alone plot hole has FINALLY been explained

It’s Christmas in less than two weeks and that means we’re cramming in as many Christmas movies as possible.

But after watching Home Alone for the 100th time (this month) we’ve been left wondering about one thing.

There is a massive plot hole in the iconic Christmas film. Have you spotted it?

Early on in the film, a tree falls on the phone lines during a storm and destroys them, so Kevin can’t contact his parents in Paris.

However, later on in the film, Kevin calls to order a pizza…

So how can he order a pizza but his parents can’t get through to him!?

Well, Huffington Post have finally explained this GLARING plot hole.

A representative from American telecommunications company AT&T revealed; ‘When you’re trying to call from Paris, now you’re relying on a whole series of connections including undersea cables, any one of which could have a problem, which would prevent you from reaching some particular telephone number.’

So there you have it guys! We can now watch Home Alone in peace.
