JOHANNESBURG - The late Cloete Murray was working on an application to ensure workers at embattled airline Comair are paid their outstanding salaries. That’s according to the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa.

Calls for thorough investigation into Cloete Murray's killing

The union has reacted with shock after Murray, and his son were gunned down while travelling on the N1 Highway last weekend.

Numsa is urging the remaining liquidators to ensure workers are paid their salaries.

A non-profit organisation, Forensics For Justice, is offering a R1m reward for information on those who ordered the killing.
