Uganda Cranes star Dennis Onyango has been made ambassador of a program- TapIn Uganda Youth Football.

“I am pleased to take up this role and promise further the ideals of this organisation,” promised Onyango after signing with the program

The program aims at promoting youth football with a particular interest in boys and girls from 7 to 17 years.

“Our target is to lend a hand to government in youth development right from the grassroots,” said Uganda’s Program Manager Linus Wamanya.

“We not only focus on talent development, but also keeping youths away from bad habits. We shall be reaching out to the most remote areas. We are giving every talent a chance.”

“We have recruited 40 staff across the country, with their main task being creation of teams to join the league through an app.”

The enterprise software enables self-management and organisation of youth football leagues from a mobile device. It is focussed on developing nations.

The program is part of the Tapin Mobile Solutions conglomerate.

TapIn Mobile Solutions offers a revolutionary, state-of-the-art mobile and online platform that enables the self-management and organization of sports leagues.
