Kaizer Chiefs issue update on Dumisani Zuma, and it’s NOT looking good!

Kaizer Chiefs have issued an official update on the disciplinary hearing involving midfielder Dumisani Zuma.

In a statement released on Friday, Amakhosi confirmed that Zuma did face the music for his alleged drunk and driving arrest.

Zuma was thrown behind the police van in Sandton over three weeks ago only to be released on bail a few hours later.

The news of Zuma’s arrest landed him in hot water with Chiefs who suspended him from all club activities effective immediately pending the investigation.

The club has now confirmed that Zuma’s sitting did take place with an independent chairperson pressing over the hearing process.

According to Chiefs, the recommendations made were that Zuma be disciplined in line with the club’s disciplinary code without going into details.

However, Zuma will remain suspended from all Amakhosi’s activities and will attend rehabilitation, the club said.

ZUMA TO ATTEND REHABILITATION

A disciplinary hearing was held to deal with the matter relating to Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Dumsani Zuma. An independent chairperson presided over the hearing process.

Following the hearing and the recommendations made, Mr Dumsani Zuma will be disciplined in line with the company’s disciplinary code. He has been suspended from Club activities and will attend rehabilitation.
