This Insect Jumps Like Nothing Else on Earth!

We found some beetle larvae under the bark of a dead tree that perform very unusual spring-loaded jumps! It was so weird that we ended up doing a whole study on them and just submitted it for publication as a peer-reviewed science journal article.
