COLUMBUS CIRCLE, NY — New York City's holiday season is in full swing, and one of the city's most popular holiday markets is set to open this week.

A favorite among Manhattan holiday shoppers, the Columbus Circle Holiday Market will open Wednesday, Dec. 4. Nearly 150 vendors will set up shop in the famed circle to ply their goods until Christmas Eve, Urbanspace — the company that organizes the marketplace — announced recently.

"Deemed one of the most elegant and beautiful places for holiday shopping, the market will showcase a large collection of unique gift options ranging from art and jewelry to décor and homegoods from local artisans and designers," an Urbanspace press release reads.

The Columbus Cirlce Holiday Market is also known for its food and beverage offerings. Some of this year's standout food and beverage options include Jicama: California Street Food, The Baking Bean and Fries + Beer by The Truffleist.

Vendor stalls will surround the USS Maine monument just south of the Columbus Circle entrance to Central Park.
